Too many restaurants in Omaha and it is hard to find one that's really stand out from the crowd. You might not believe this, Omaha is not a big city like Los Angeles or New York, but definitely not small. Omaha along has 800 plus restaurant. Just go to one restaurant per night and wouldn't come back to the same one for 2 and a half year.
Last week I tried a very elegant restaurant in Benson/Dundee area in Omaha, Marks. Even though the sign just say Marks, I found their website name Marks Bistro. Marks is a very romantic place with many decorative lighting hanging by the stair and around the seating / dinning area. Once you walk up, you can see the patio separate each section by wooden divider, that is different than the other restaurants here in Omaha. Depending on where you are seating, each area has a different atmosphere. 
This is my first time dinning at Marks and I came with 4 of my nieces that been there before. Before I went there, I did a quick look at the dinner menu, so that I don't have to spend too much time on deciding what to eat. I find that I have problem on choosing stuff. Often time we spend over half an hour to decide on what to eat.Well, everyone know time is money, right? I initially decided on eating the Smoked chicken lasagna. Lasagna is one of my favorite, I don't get to eat it very often. I don't make it at home as no one will eat it at home. It's not that because it taste awefull, it just people at home are dead set on Asian food and not too keen on western style food to begin with.
I found out from the waitress that the fall menu just came out 2 days ago. After hearing from my nieces of their past experience of the restaurant. I decided to order the lobster and bay scallop risotto, mac and cheese, and smoked chicken lasagna sharing between me and my 2 nieces. The food looked great.Part 1 ended.
